Bangkok by Night Train

The trip was 5 days and 4 nights. On 23rd December 2015 we took a flight to Penang by Malindo Air. We spent a night in Kulim. On the Christmas Eve we took a night train from Butterworth to Bangkok. Have to book a month early.. cepat habis!

The train moved at 2 pm and reached Padang Besar around 6 pm. It stopped for border crossing and immigration check point. Luckily we packed some food for dinner. Most other passengers prebooked their meals and upon reaching Hadyai they had their dinner piping hot.

After dinner, the attendant prepare the beds, put the linens and blankets.

 The next morning we arrived at Bangkok Railway Station and make our way to check in at Evergreen Palace Hotel & Serviced Residence Bangkok.

After 3 nights in Bangkok, on the 27th December 2015, we hopped on Airasia for a flight home.

Its a short trip worthwhile... we will be back, InsyaAllah. We have been going to Bangkok since 2003 and other places in Thailand almost now and then.
