Day 1 Malaga (15.4.17)
our unit for a week |
In the sixteenth century, Benalmádena was repopulated with old Christians, who found it extremely difficult to settle in an environment that was far from safe. The attacks from the sea never stopped, and the village was constantly being ransacked by enemies. When pirate and Berber assaults became less frequent, the population began to grow.
In 1680, a severe earthquake brought the village to the ground again; even the hills subsided. It was followed by a tsunami that played havoc with the coast and the fishing boats along it. In 1784, a man from Genoa, Félix Solesio, came to buy the farmhouse in Arroyo de la Miel. He built six paper mills to supply the Royal Card Factory in Macharaviaya.
In the second half of the twentieth century, Málaga Province – and Benalmádena in particular – rose to a prominent position in the world tourism industry. Land was bought by international investors to build the first resorts. The first hotel to emerge was the Costa del Sol. La Roca, Siroco, Tritón, Riviera and Alay, among many others, followed suit.
Day 2 Malaga (16.4.17)
We are resting at the resort and strolled along Costa Del Sol, Benalmadena Beach and Santa Ana, whenever we feel like it. Benalmadena beach is very popular in summer and lies along the famous Costa Del Sol. Now not yet summer.
Day 3 Malaga City (17.4.17)
We spent a day in Malaga by getting a ticket for a day tour. The ticket covers the ticket to and fro Malaga and City Tour.
Malaga is a world apart from the adjoining Costa del Sol, a historic and culturally rich provincial capital which has long lived in the shadow of the iconic Andalucian cities of Granada, Cordoba and Seville. It is a port city for cruise-line passangers.

It is the largest city on Costa del Sol and the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
Looming over the modern skyline are the city's 2 massive hilltop citadels, the Alcazaba and ruined Gibralfaro, remnants of Moorish rule.
Castillo de Gibralfaro
One remnant of Malaga's Islamic past, located high on the hill overlooking the city. Built by Abd Ar-Rahman I, the 8th century Cordoban emir and later rebuilt in the 14th century when Malaga was the main port fot the emirate of Granada, the castle originally acted as a lighthouse and military barracks.
Castillo de Bil Bil
A Moorish style castle (very small to be a castle) that is used for functions and church, but the deco are like those in AlHamra. Ya Allah. Most of visitors dont know the meaning of this Arabic words. There is no other God except Allah... SubhanALLAH hul Adzeem. We like to stroll around here and the beach.
Really enjoy the Benalmadena beach, and Pueblo Evita Club. Walking to the beach and just have a lazy days while enjoying the seafood.

Day 8 Malaga Spain to Cologne Germany (22.4.2017)
At 7.00 am with a prebooked taxi we head for Malaga airport to catch flight FR8803 RyanAir departing at 10.15 am to Cologne (Bonn).
Beli lewat walaupun dah research awal..mulanya memang murah, last last dapat EU570.42 for 2 tickets. Kalau tak beli my itinerary will go haywired.
RyanAir mudah sangat... no wonder people are complaining about its security.. nama salah pun boleh naik. Tapi ok gak.. takde la nak penalise sana sini.
8 days in Malaga was wonderful. We used our 2014 allocation time share... Duduk rumah cam ni kena really duduk... baru berbaloi.
This article gives the light in which we can observe the reality. This is very nice one and gives indepth information. Thanks for this nice article. malaga tours
