From Amsterdam Central we got on a train to Leiden Central. The fare was EU9 per person. Its a double decker train, without knowing we got on the upper deck.. nak try duduk atas. Masya Allah.. along the way we passed through fields of tulips. Its fascinating !

 

For easy logistic we checked in to Ibis Leiden Centre, a 2 minute walk from the station. EU153.85 for 2 nights for a standard double room. We have a nice room facing the station. Since it is still early, we spent the afternoon enjoying what Leiden has to offer.

Everywhere we go nowadays, we have no problem with halal food. Muslims are everywhere hence halal restaurants or halal food kiosks are everywhere.

You guessed it right, once in Holland in April, one must visit Keukenhof ! I forgot today is Sunday so it must be hordes of visitors. 

We got on one of the shuttle buses to Keukenhof. Bought the combi ticket on the bus for EU24 per person. This ticket was for the bus fare and Keukenhof entrance. By the way, Keukenhof is in Lisse, not in Leiden.

Kami pergi awal, orang masih belum ramai. Masuk terus takde Q.

Sempat juga kami naik sampan menyelusuri terusan2 untuk melihat tulips field.

Petang nya kami balik ke Leiden dan naik bas ke Den Haag (The Hague). EU3.50 per person. Tujuan naik bas supaya dapat tengok kampung2 di celah celah terusan.

Dari Den Haag ke Leiden kami naik train pulak. Lenguh kaki banyak berjalan arini.
